DESCRIPTION:Come experience the COOLEST YOGA in the area! This will be an outdoor slow flow on the Tire Rack Ice Pond at Howard Park South Bend! During this 45-minute session\, expect to hold poses a little longer to generate some inner heat. You’ve heard of hot yoga…and well…this is kind of the opposite!\n\nWhat you need to know:\n•ARRIVE EARLY to get your spot on the ice…it’ll take a little bit to sign waivers and get everyone out / situated on the ice. We will begin class promptly at 10am – if you arrive too close to the start\, you may not be permitted on the ice.\n-DRESS WARM\n-Wear a face mask\n-Shoes or boots with warm socks (no bare feet).\n-Hats\, gloves\, coats.\n-Layers. Try to figure out how to be as warm as you can without being too bulky or you won’t be able to do the poses.\n-Hand & feet warmers might be a good addition.\n-Sunglasses – if it’s sunny\, the ice can be bright.\n-Yoga mat and beach towel\n-We’ll have a few mats for those who don’t have one\, but not many\, so please bring your own if able. Everyone will NEED to bring a beach towel to put under your mat to keep it in place on the ice.\n-No admission cost – donations are welcome to help support on-going opportunities like this.\n-This is an all levels class\, but the ice and cold adds just a tiny level of adventure\, so please be aware.\n-Everyone must sign a waiver on-site prior to participation

Space is limited!\n\nInstructor Bio:\nZella Mae loves playing\, teaching\, and combining a love for music in her own life and sharing that with all of her students. She has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Voice from Sam Houston State University\, holds active music teaching certification EC-12\, has nearly 8 years of experience teaching in Houston Public Schools for general music and choir\, created and led kids music camp\, acted as vocal director for multiple full cast youth musical theatre productions and teen camps\, and has also taught private piano and voice for over 25 years. Zella currently is part of the South Bend Community and desires to share magical gifts in music (as well as energy healing) in the community. DESCRIPTION:Come experience the COOLEST YOGA in town! You’ve heard of hot yoga…and well…this is kind of the opposite! \nDuring this 45-minute session\, expect to hold poses a little longer to generate some inner heat. Yoga on Ice will be an outdoor slow flow on the Tire Rack Ice Pond at Howard Park South Bend! \nWhat you need to know: \n•ARRIVE EARLY to get your spot on the ice…it’ll take a little bit to sign waivers and get everyone out / situated on the ice. We will begin class promptly at 9:30 AM – if you arrive too close to the start\, you may not be permitted on the ice.\n-DRESS WARM\n-Shoes or boots with warm socks (no bare feet).\n-Hats\, gloves\, coats.\n-Layers. Try to figure out how to be as warm as possible without being too bulky or you won’t be able to do the poses.\n-Hand & feet warmers might be a good addition.\n-Sunglasses – if it’s sunny\, the ice can be bright.\n-Yoga mat and beach towel\n-We’ll have a few mats for those who don’t have one\, but not many\, so please bring your own if you are able. Everyone will NEED to bring a beach towel to put under your mat to keep it in place on the ice.\n-No admission cost\n-This is an all-levels class\, but the ice and cold add just a tiny level of adventure\, so please be aware.\n-Everyone must sign a waiver on-site before participation
