DESCRIPTION:Come experience the COOLEST YOGA in town! You’ve heard of hot yoga…and well…this is kind of the opposite!\n\nDuring this 45-minute session\, expect to hold poses a little longer to generate some inner heat. Yoga on Ice will be an outdoor slow flow on the Tire Rack Ice Pond at Howard Park South Bend!\n\nWhat you need to know:•ARRIVE EARLY to get your spot on the ice…it’ll take a little bit to sign waivers and get everyone out / situated on the ice. We will begin class promptly at 9:30 AM – if you arrive too close to the start\, you may not be permitted on the ice.-DRESS WARM-Shoes or boots with warm socks (no bare feet).-Hats\, gloves\, coats.-Layers. Try to figure out how to be as warm as possible without being too bulky or you won’t be able to do the poses.-Hand & feet warmers might be a good addition.-Sunglasses – if it’s sunny\, the ice can be bright.-Yoga mat and beach towel-We’ll have a few mats for those who don’t have one\, but not many\, so please bring your own if you are able. Everyone will NEED to bring a beach towel to put under your mat to keep it in place on the ice.-No admission cost-This is an all-levels class\, but the ice and cold add just a tiny level of adventure\, so please be aware.-Everyone must sign a waiver on-site before participation

It is held each spring and encourages all ages to learn more about their brain health in a fun\, interactive way. Students\, faculty\, and staff offer activity stations where you can learn anything from brain plasticity to how to fall asleep to how music helps with brain development.\n\nThe Brain Awareness Fair is always free. Children are given a Big Brain Book to take to each station for stickers to put into their book like a passport.
